Contraindications
AM I SUITABLE CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TEETH WHITENING?
Unfortunately, if any of the following applies to you, you are not a suitable candidate for teeth whitening:

Pregnant or lactating women,

Anyone under the age of 18

Anyone with gum disease, open cavities, leaking fillings, or other dental conditions

Anyone with a known allergy to peroxide and/or to Aloe Vera.

Anyone taking photoreactive drugs (Chlorthiazide, Hydrochlorothiazide, Chlorthalidone, Naprosyn, Oxaprozin, Nabumetone, Piroxicam, Doxycycline, Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin, Psoralens, Democlocyline, Norfloxacin, Sparfloxacin, Sulindac, Tetracycline, St. John’s Wart, Isotretinoin, Tretinoin).

Anyone that has had braces removed must wait for cement residue to wear off before getting a tooth whitening treatment

Anyone with a piercing or other metal objects in the oral cavity should remove them before the treatment as they may turn black.

If you feel a sharp pain on a particular tooth during the treatment you must advise the technician to stop the treatment and then contact your dentist since this could be a sign of an open cavity.
